About
Memphis, Tennessee, is known for many things. We’re the home of the blues, Beale Street, Elvis Presley, W.C. Handy, Stax Records, Sun Studios, and Gibson guitars. We’ve got the Memphis Grizzlies and the Memphis Tigers. We’re the home of Jerry Lawler and the place Andy Kaufman came in 1982 to get an old fashion ass-whoopin. We’re the city where sanitation workers went on strike for 64 days in 1968, and unfortunately we’re the city where Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. Memphis is the city where Albert Puljos cranked home-runs as a miner leaguer, and where a young entrepreneur named Fred Smith decided to open a company called Federal Express. We’ve got a pyramid, a bluff, a mound and B Terminal that never ends. Memphis is known for its awesome fried chicken and its world championship BBQ. But that’s not all. Some of the best burgers, wings, and pub-grub you’ll ever sink your teeth into exist here, and that’s what BestMemphisBurger.com is all about. Our goal is to find the good food, review it, put our spin on it and encourage you to go decide for yourself.
Please keep a few things in mind:
- No one reviewing food here is a professional food critic.
- We’re scoring the food and not the restaurant.
- We’re more than happy to give any place that doesn’t measure up a second chance.
- Judging food is subjective. Everyone has different tastes and favorites – meaning the posts on this site are based on personal preferences. We respect that your’s may be different.
