Make mine medium has become a standing joke. I go out for a burger, ask for it to be cooked medium and I’m usually served a something very well-done. Some of those burgers have been delicious. Some, not so much.

I generally find if there’s a cloth napkin involved, I’ll get what I order. I’m not so delusional as to think I’m going to get a medium burger at Tops or Sweden Kream, but If you’re cooking a big thick patty, you should be able to cook them to order.

Check this one out. Nice and crisp on the outside. Pink and juicy in the middle. Loaded with flavor and bursting with awesomeness. No cloth napkin either. I’ll let you guess where it’s from.

  4. Ugh! Yuck. Can’t deal with a medium burger.

To quote Warren Ellis: MAN COOK MEAT WITH FIRE. Not “man show fire to meat and then eat it while it still squirts and pulses.” KILL IT DED WITH FIRE YUS. “medium rare” = “good vet could get it up on its feet in an hour or two.” That’s not cooked with fire. That’s THREATENED with fire.
